I'm a bit late.

That car (that specific car, the 'Zombie' Z) terrifies me and excites me. It rustles everything right and wrong in my jimmies. It haunts my dreams and fulfills my fantasies.
...uh. Excuse me. I'm going to... uh... return some video tapes. Have this.

I need info on this build. I only know it from that picture you posted, and haven't heard much about iconic Zs save for the Devil Z.
That was an awesome movie. The bathroom scene where he washes his gloves is gold.

The build isn't impressive on paper, it seems mostly stock, but the image (and the extremely careful quality of the interior, which makes you suspect something more artistic is going on with the exterior) shows that the car is a rolling art piece, not just a hunk of junk. It's gotten a bit of a cult following after Speedhunters featured it in a gallery a while back, so they returned to get more detail on it.

Also, other famous Zs from around the interwebs:
Mark Rolston's $50,000+ RB26DETT 240z:
A twin-turbo VK45DE 240z from Japan (don't know who owns it). This one makes about 700+ flywheel HP, and was the first VK45DE swap in the world.
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2161905/1… The Z31 "Black Bitch" an NA2T Z31 with a stock motor putting out around 550HP. It's regarded as the fastest non-engine-swapped Z31.
The Original Devil Z:
Rocky Auto's "Carbon Z", a 240z with a primarily carbon fiber shell and chassis. Supposedly comes in under 2000lbs easily (~300-400lbs less than stock) and has oodles of HP from an RB26DETT.
Those are just a few off the top of my head, but there are many, many more famous Zs out there.

One more tidbit, the Black Bitch in the other comment (I can't edit it now for some reason) has a link that says he got 400WHP back in 2007 and more if he cranked the boost up. Since then in the last 6 years he's gotten it over 500HP at the wheel, and I think the crank is around 550HP.
